Just want to give this old man recognition for helping me out everytime I needed his expertise. He has been providing me with hassle free job in fixing underchasis bushing related issues.
His shop is along National Hi-way right across GoodWill Milling. Here is a picture of his spot.
He's been here for quite some time already. You can see his stash of bushing guides inside his home/shed.
I have not really asked what his real name was but I call him "Manoy". He specializes in creating bushings and anything that has something to do with hard rubber. These rubbers are not from jeeps or even from SUV's but these are from tractors. Just imagine the process of just getting a slice from those huge rubber doughnuts.
What fascinates me everytime I come by is how he lays the pattern of the original to the raw rubber a chunk of the harvested rubber that is. After which he slowly cuts slices of rubber until it gets into shape.
So after a few chit chat, I then received my handmade rubber bushing. Sweet!
